Different fabrics require different finishes. The route below shows the main processing stages relevant to our stock fabrics; the third stage varies according to the required finish.

KNITTING
Where the fabric
takes form.
Yarn is knitted into the required fabric construction. The knitting stage determines the basic structure and character of the fabric before further finishing.

Stability before
finishing.
Where required, fabric is heat set to stabilize its structure and prepare it for subsequent processing and finishing.

This is not a fixed three-step sequence. Depending on the fabric requirement, an appropriate processing route is selected.
